Calendly, Square, or custom — how do I choose?

Calendly works for most service businesses with simple appointment slots. Square is the right call if you also need point-of-sale or you’re already on it. Custom is worth it when your booking flow has multiple staff, services, durations, or deposits — and you want it tied directly into your own database.

Will customers be able to book on their phone?

Yes. Mobile-first is the default — most service-business bookings happen on a phone, often after hours. We test on real devices, not just a browser tool.

Can the system take deposits or payments at booking?

Yes. We integrate Stripe (or Square Payments) so customers pay a deposit or the full amount when they book. This cuts no-shows significantly.

What about cancellations and rescheduling?

Customers get an email or SMS with reschedule/cancel links. You set the policy — how far in advance, whether deposits are refundable, and what gets logged.
