A DTC brand website that earns the first purchase and builds the reason to come back.

We build Shopify and custom marketing websites for DTC brands — product storytelling pages, subscription offering pages, brand editorial sections, and the conversion architecture that turns cold traffic from paid ads into first-time customers. Fixed scope, fixed price.

The problem
You're spending on paid acquisition. The ads are working. But the traffic hits the website and doesn't convert. The product pages don't tell the story. The checkout is generic. There's no reason on the site to believe the product is worth the premium.

DTC brand websites have one job: convince a stranger who arrived from a paid ad to spend $40–$200 on a product they've never tried. That job requires a specific set of conditions to be met on the page before the visitor will commit. They need to understand what the product is and what it does. They need to understand why it's better than the alternative they're currently using or the other brand they've seen. They need social proof from people like them who've tried it. They need to understand the risk (what's the return policy? is there a guarantee?). And the path from decision to purchase needs to be frictionless.

Most DTC brand websites fail at one or more of these conditions. The product pages have 3-sentence descriptions and stock photography. The UGC testimonials are buried at the bottom of the page. The ingredient or formulation story (the "why this product is different" argument) is never told. The subscription offer is a popup, not a page. The checkout has 5 unnecessary steps.

The DTC brands that scale past 7 figures on paid acquisition typically have a website that's been iterated based on real conversion data — they've tested hero images, product page structures, testimonial placement, and CTA copy. A new DTC brand building its website for the first time should start with the conversion architecture that the 7-figure brands converged on, not the generic ecommerce template that most agencies start with.

What we build

A DTC marketing website and product experience that converts paid traffic into first-time buyers, communicates the product's value premium clearly, and gives returning customers a reason to come back beyond a discount email.

Product storytelling page architecture

Hero with product + core benefit in one sentence. Ingredient or formulation story (the "why it works" section that justifies the premium). Before-and-after or comparison section. Customer photo testimonials with specific, credible quotes. FAQ addressing the purchase objections. Add-to-cart path.

Brand editorial section

Brand founding story, mission, and the specific problem the founders identified. Brand values expressed through content, not a generic values statement. Blog or content section if SEO content strategy is in scope.

Subscription offer pages

Subscription vs. one-time purchase comparison. Subscription benefits (discount, never-run-out, flexibility). Subscription FAQ. Designed to shift buyers from one-time to recurring with higher LTV.

UGC and social proof integration

Instagram feed integration or UGC gallery. Yotpo or Okendo review widget on product pages. Press mentions and media coverage. Certification or endorsement badges where applicable.

Performance-optimised build

Next.js or Shopify (based on your stack). Page speed optimised — LCP under 2.5s. Mobile-first design. Core Web Vitals compliance. Required for paid ad quality scores and organic ranking. Built on Next.js (custom) or Shopify (headless or standard theme), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS.

Why fixed-price

Why Fixed-Price Matters Here

DTC founders are measuring every marketing dollar against conversion rate and customer acquisition cost. A website project with a defined scope and fixed price — evaluated against the conversion rate lift it produces on existing ad traffic — is the right commercial frame for a DTC operator. Fixed scope, fixed price.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Shopify is the right choice for most DTC brands: the checkout is optimised, the app ecosystem is deep, and the platform handles payment compliance and fulfilment integrations out of the box. A custom Next.js frontend with a headless Shopify backend gives more design flexibility. A fully custom stack is only warranted if your product has specific technical requirements that Shopify can't meet. We build on whichever stack makes sense for your needs.

Shopify Markets handles multi-currency and multi-language for Shopify-based DTC brands. For custom builds, Shopify's Storefront API supports international pricing, currency conversion, and locale-based content. If you're pre-launch and targeting a single market, international is a v2 feature.

A/B testing requires a testing framework — Google Optimize (deprecated), VWO, or Optimizely. We build the site with the structure that supports A/B testing and can integrate a testing framework, but the testing program itself is an ongoing marketing operations function, not a one-time website build deliverable.

A DTC brand marketing website with product storytelling pages, subscription section, UGC integration, and brand editorial typically runs $8k–$15k. Fixed-price.
